Published 18:01 on 20 Dec 2021

Dear Members,

You are hereby given notice of the Annual General Meeting of the Worthing Sailing Club.

Date & Time: Sunday, 23rd January 2022 starting at 12 noon

Venue: Online using Zoom. Invite will be sent to this email address at least 7 days in advance of the meeting

Agenda & Audited Accounts:

The AGM agenda and a copy of the WSC audited accounts for FY 2020/2021 will be circulated no later than 8th January 2022

A notice regarding any proposed rule changes or items for the agenda from members will be circulated separately by the secretary in the next few days.

Committee: The four committee members retiring this year as required by our constitution are:

Daniel Murphy

Andrew Jolley (will remain as the club's Safeguarding & Equality Officer)

Colin Rawlings (standing for re-election)

Andy Monk (standing for re-election, will remain as the club's Boat park Manager)

General

We encourage as many members as possible to attend this important event in the WSC calendar. This is your opportunity to be heard and have a say on how the club is run over the next 12 months and beyond.

The decision by your committee to hold the AGM online ( by Zoom) rather than at the club, has been taken in order to comply with current government GOVID guidance, particularly in respect of social distancing. We have over 200 members and, self evidently, limited capacity at the club house to accommodate members safely in any numbers.

More details on how to log-on to this app will follow in due course.

Yours sincerely

Dan England

Commodore
