This won't be just any Friday Fiasco... This one will be extra special because we will be celebrating the honorary membership of the man who not only helped shape our club but also gave Friday Fiasco its name: Richard John. Richard was one of the founders of the Bugs and Bug Week, a former Commodore, and someone whose influence can still be seen throughout the club today. Together with Caroline, he helped create much of the atmosphere and traditions that many of us enjoy to this day. And how better to celebrate than with a little trip down memory lane? For those who remember the golden years of Friday Fiasco, you'll be pleased to hear that POSH DOGS are back on the menu! Think quality sausages, soft rolls, caramelised onions, delicious sauces and all the trimmings. The sort of food that makes your mouth water long before you've reached the galley hatch. Expect a fabulous evening filled with good food, sailing, stories, memories, laughter and a celebration of everything Richard and Caroline have contributed to our club over the years. Food booking opens on the website tomorrow, and bookings close on Sunday evening, 7 June!! Please come along and help us give Richard the celebration he deserves. Whether you've known him for decades or only joined the club recently, chances are you've benefited from something that Richard helped create. It's going to be a very special Friday Fiasco.
