Welcome to Worthing Sailing Club

  • A place for sailing as a sport, training and community. Founded in 1957 with a new club house opened in 2014 situated on the beach at Goring, just west of Worthing town centre.
  • We welcome members of all abilities.
  • Membership includes organised racing Sundays and bank holidays March to November.
  • RYA training is free to members 8+ May to September.
  • The club has catering and bar facilities and an active social calendar.
  • There is a sizable boat compound for sailing dinghies.

Royal Escape Race - Brighton to Fecamp (France)

Two of our Bug instructors, Hannah and Josh took part in this annual race from Brighton to Fecamp over the weekend starting on Friday. The race is approximately 60 miles organised by Sussex Yacht Club. The conditions were light but they made it in around 14 hours winning both their class and IRC overall.
