We're delighted to report that five of our members took part in the very first RYA SRC/VHF course run at the club - a fantastic milestone for us.

A big congratulations to Tim Rose, Jerry Robinson, Charles Magdam, Bob Hewitt and Paul Seggery, who all passed with flying colours. A great achievement and a valuable addition to their sailing skills.

This was a brilliant day at the club, with a real sense of learning, focus, and camaraderie - exactly what we aim to build more of.

Many thanks go to our RYA instructor Mark Emery and examiner Danny Mizon for their guidance and support throughout the course. We're also very grateful to Mark Osborne for providing the VHF radio equipment.

A special thank you to Kevin Headon of Sussex Yacht Club, under whose auspices we were able to run the course - much appreciated.

Following this success, we're pleased to confirm that a second course will be running at the end of May - watch this space for details.
